How do I cancel my website?
Short answer: Email support and a person will cancel it for you. They confirm the last day your site stays live and stop future payments.
Steps
- Email hello@sortedonline.uk from the email
address on your account.
- Write "Cancel my website" in the subject line and say which website you mean.
- Tell us what you want to happen to your domain: keep it, transfer it away, or
let it stop renewing.
- A person checks the account and replies with the last date your website will
stay live.
- Reply to confirm. We stop the Direct Debit from that date.
What to expect
Cancellation is always handled by a person, never by our automated assistant. Your website stays live until the date we agree in writing, so you can save anything you need from it. We do not take further payments after that date. Cancelling your website does not move your domain on its own, so tell us what you want to do with it in the same message.
