Can I change my website business name?
Short answer: Yes. Email support with the new business name and we will change it on your website for you.
Steps
- Email hello@sortedonline.uk from the email
address on your account.
- Give the exact new business name, spelled as you want customers to see it.
- Tell us if the name also changes anywhere else, such as your contact
details or the name on your invoices.
- We update the name in your page headings, your text, and your footer, and
check that it reads well.
- We publish the change and reply to tell you it is live.
What to expect
A business name change on your website is usually made the same working day, and your site is never replaced by a half-finished version. Changing the name on the website does not change your domain or your email address on its own, so tell us if you want those changed too.
